Why your resolutions fail (and what to do differently)
Every year (or every Monday) you promise the same thing. And every year it falls apart. It's not that you're lazy: you're fighting against how your brain works. Here are the three mistakes we repeat and how to flip them.
Mistake 1: vague goals
“I want to get fit” isn't a goal, it's a wish. Your brain doesn't know what to do with it. Swap it for something concrete and measurable: “train 30 minutes, Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 6pm”. The more specific, the less room for excuses.
Mistake 2: the all-or-nothing trap
You skip a day, feel you've already “ruined the week” and quit. It's the most common and most expensive mistake. Perfection doesn't exist; consistency does. A slip is data, not failure. Come back the next day and that's it.
Mistake 3: zero tracking
What isn't measured gets abandoned quietly. With no record and no one noticing whether you followed through, it's super easy to let it slide “just for today”… and today, and today. Tracking turns intention into action.
The difference: systems, not willpower
Disciplined people don't have more willpower than you: they have better systems. Clear goals, reminders they can't ignore and someone (or something) holding them accountable.
That's Cero Excusas: you set your schedule once and the coach handles the rest on WhatsApp. It reminds you, tracks your progress and, if you ignore it, calls you. You make the decision; it brings the persistence.
